Support
UspendItrack reads your bank statements on your phone and shows you where the money went. It has no account and no server, so most questions have local answers.
- The app says my statement's layout is not recognised.
- Built-in parsers cover the common Singapore statement formats. For any other bank, export the statement as CSV from your bank's own site or app and import that — the app will ask which column holds the date, the description and the amount, and will remember the answer for that bank.
- It says there is no text in my PDF.
- The file is a scan or a photograph, so there are no characters in it to read. There is no OCR in the app. Download the statement from your bank rather than scanning a paper copy, or export it as CSV.
- The imported total does not match my statement.
- The app compares what it read against the total printed on the statement and warns you when they differ. Every transaction may still be right — some statements print refunds outside their own totals. Compare against the paper copy, and edit or add any row by hand from the Transactions screen.
- How do I move my data to a new phone?
- Settings → Data & Privacy → Export CSV on the old phone, then import that file on the new one. Nothing is backed up to a cloud — that is deliberate, and it means this is the only path across. Export is never restricted.
- I paid, and it is asking me to pay again.
- Settings → Unlock → Restore Purchases. The unlock is a one-time purchase tied to your App Store or Google Play account, and restoring it needs a network connection once. After that it works offline.
- What does the purchase unlock?
- Importing more than five statements. Nothing else is ever restricted: viewing, editing, categorising, budgets, reports and CSV export all work fully on the free tier, and everything you imported before the limit stays usable forever.
- Can you look at my data to help?
- No, and this is the point of the app rather than a limitation of the support channel: your data is only on your phone. Please do not email statements or transaction details.
